"This wine is a classic ripe, scented varietal wine with an excellent cellaring tradition. The colour is a deep red. The nose has attractive briar, cigar-box and blackcurrant fruit aromas. The palate shows stylish blackcurrant, berry and chocolate flavours with length and depth. French oak maturation has filled out the palate and given a subtle smoky background.
This is a wine that will repay careful cellaring for 10 years
