"D’Arenberg’s commitment to grenache has to be admired.
It smells sweet and spicy and tastes it too, though its savoury tug of tannin ensures that it never seems lollied. It’s a good, ripe wine with a savoury heart. Cedarwood, sand, raspberry and distinct ‘minerally’ notes. Finishes tight and controlled. Quality wine.
