92 points "Good medium-deep red. Black cherry, redcurrant, licorice and menthol aromas lifted by a floral element. The floral quality carries through on the palate, which offers good inner-mouth perfume to the flavors of sour cherry, licorice and spices. A suave, smooth sangiovese with harmonious tannins and good subtle, spicy length. Tanzer; The wine possesses terrific depth and richness, along with enough vibrancy to make me think it will continue to drink well for some time. Today, the tannins needs bottle age to soften, but this is a very pretty effort that only requires a measure of patience. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2021 Wine Advocate. " Best 2011-2021
