"From a biodynamically farmed vineyard, the outstanding 2009 Marques de Gelida Gran Reserva Brut Exclusive is made from the same blend as the Kila Cava, but spends 3.5 years in the bottle prior to being released. The longer bottle age has given it a slightly more creamy richness as well as abundant notes of bread dough, apple, pear and citrus oil. With a delicious entry on the palate, this dry, but not austere sparkling wine has excellent purity, texture and ripeness. It is an exceptional value that should drink well for 1-2 years.

Applesauce, lime and mineral aromas comprise the shy bouquet on this Cava. It feels round yet alive, with crisp apple and peach flavors. Citrus-driven acidity comes out on the finish.
