"This wine, from Heidi Peterson Barrett, is the Cabernet sister to her Merlot/Cabernet Franc Amuse Bouche. She seems to be consciously aiming for a restraint that's sometimes missing from her client wineries. It's really a stunning Cab, soft and complex, rich in blackberry and chocolate fruit, and irresistibly delicious. Somehow she has made a wine that's powerful and opulent and impossibly rich, yet maintains an almost weightless elegance. Editors' Choice."
