"From a mix of vines situated in Brochon that average 60 years of age; note: there is another version of this wine that is from 38 year old vines situated in Gevrey that is less exciting. Unfortunately, the difference between the two is not indicated on the label. This is much brighter and more aromatically vibrant than the prior wines with more underlying material and better acid/fruit balance as well. There is quite a bit of gas which undoubtedly hardens the tannins somewhat but I doubt that this will require much beyond 4 to 5 years to be at its best."
