"An incredibly perfumed, lifted nose reveals intense violets, chocolate, vanilla, blackberry, plum cake, and a touch of mint. What a sniff! The palate does not disappoint either. Extremely full-bodied, the wine has all of the confectionary, liqueur-like richness that one expects in a top Barossa shiraz. Acidity and tannin are present to keep the wine well-balanced.
