"The “Classic” rating on Rutherglen Tokay or Muscat indicates a wine of added richness and complexity compared to the foundation rating of “Rutherglen”. Chris Killeen’s Classic Tokay is a fine example of this style with lovely Tokay fruit characters of citrus, honey, toffee and dried raisins.
The luscious palate holds these concentrated flavours to a firm drying finish for a very satisfying drink. One to enjoy with sweets such as butterscotch ice cream or with coffee after dinner.
