93 points "The 2007 Brunello di Montalcino is gorgeous. It may be the very best wine I have ever tasted from San Polo. Sweet red cherries, flowers, mint and spices are woven together beautifully in this juicy, sexy Brunello. The 2007 keeps getting better with time in the glass. Readers looking for a Brunello that will drink well with a minimum of cellaring will find a lot of pleasure here. Anticipated maturity: 2015-2025. " Best 2015-2025

4 stars "Color: dark; Nose: complex; Acidity: supple; Sweetness: dry; Body: full-bodied; Finish: persistent; Overall: bold; I liked this wine but it seemed to have a relatively high alcohol content."
