"More whole clusters/stems (40%) are used in the fermentation of the 2007 Syrah Garys’ Vineyard. This has given the wine more structure as well as an earthy, peppery, forest floor-like component to accompany the blackberry liqueur, incense, and floral notes. With fabulous fruit, full-bodied richness, and a stunning finish, it should drink nicely for 7-8 years, possibly longer. "
