"Fruit-driven, with ripe, rich, pure melon, peach and spicy apple notes that are joined midpalate by a pleasant dash of toasty oak. Ends with a long, clean, fruity finish. Drink now through 2010. 1,190 cases made. –JL"

"I found the winery’s regular ’04 disappointing. This commemorative bottling is oakier and much riper in tropical fruit flavors, with non-malolactic crisp acidity and a buttercream texture. Somehow, though, it lacks the power and follow-through a great Chard should have, especially at this price. — S.H. (10/1/2007)"
