"A new label from winemaker Jeff Hansen (Amici Cellars) at a friendly price. The fruit for this cab comes from the southern parcel of Amici's Saint Helena vineyard, while the merlot (about 10% of the blend) comes from an adjacent vineyard. Aged for 22 months in 50% new French oak, the wine is a saturated ruby-garnet hue with aromas of spice and berries and flavors of blackberries and dried cherries on the palate."
