"92 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
"The 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon “Bakery Hill” was aged in seasoned French and American oak. It is purple-colored with an impressive aromatic array of cedar, scorched earth, black currant and blackberry. This leads to a medium-bodied, forward wine with a supple texture, intense black fruit flavors, excellent balance, and good underlying structure. The finish is long and pure. This sensational value totally over-delivers for its humble price point. Drink it over the next 10-12 years. Rusden is owned by Dennis and Christian Canute with the talented Christian serving as winemaker. The vines were planted in the early 1970s in the tenderloin of the Barossa. Christian Canute has a unique ability to produce wines of great finesse combined with the intensity and power obtained from Barossa Valley fruit." ~ (RP)
