"This too is very ripe (though not roasted) with iron and earth suffused red pinot fruit aromas introducing rich, full, sweet and impressively concentrated flavors that are juicy yet detailed on the generous, sappy and very solidly structured finish. The structure, while quite firm, is not aggressive as there is so much dry extract buffering it that the overall effect is a wine that is delicious, serious and well balanced."
