"This outstanding Cabernet Sauvignon was produced from 100% estate dry-grown vines ranging in age from 14 - 50yrs. 2006 was a cracker of a vintage in the Barossa and this wine is a true reflection of world class winemaking from an outstanding vintage. The fruit is hand-picked, open fermented, gently basket pressed, followed by maturation in American and French oak, slowly racked over time, and finally bottled after approximately 20 months. Ruby coloured, concentrated jammy blackberry, and raspberry fruits with hints of black cherry. A well-structured full-bodied wine with well-rounded mouthfeel finishing with generous length.
