95 points "Gorgeous aromas, plump and generous, lead to ripe, rich, juicy plum and black cherry flavors that show touches of cedar, fresh earth, black licorice and spice. Gains momentum and finesse, with a long, subtle, detailed finish. Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot."

95 points "95 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Good red-ruby. Flamboyantly sexy aromas of raspberry liqueur, woodsmoke, incense, rose oil, soy sauce and truffle. Sweet, sexy and deep, with a creamy, almost decadent core of framboise and soil flavors given energy and lift by underlying minerality. Offers an uncanny combination of silkiness and verve and finishes with suave tannins and outstanding length. One of the sexiest California wines I tasted this spring. This Bordeaux blend comes from a vineyard on Pritchard Hill, above Lake Hennessy at an elevation of 1,400 feet, and is made by Andy Erickson with Michel Rolland consulting." (06/2009)"
