"I was pleasantly surprised by this wine because the first bottle I tasted was corked...it was a rather dense Pinot, with a full burst of fruit on the palette...the finish was velvety with lovely balanced tannins...the nose was purple and complex with notes of wild black cherry...overall, I was very happy with this wine and would purchase it again...one could push the envelope with food, though, and try it effectively with more gamier fare than Salmon and Turkey..."
