"The dense ruby/purple-tinged, elegant, medium-bodied 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon offers fragrant, sweet scents of sassafras, spice box, and red and black currants. Although the outstanding aromatics do not fully follow through on the palate, this is an excellent effort. This is an estate-bottled 100% Cabernet Sauvignon that is aged in 100% new French oak for 25 months prior to bottling.
