""Exquisitely fragrant, with orange blossom and honeysuckle notes. Effusive on the palate too, with ripe guava, nectarine, passion fruit and pink grapefruit flavors, with a wonderfully clean and refreshing acidity. Drink now. 963 cases made." (Tasting Highlight, 06/08) Two Wives Wines is a joint-venture involving Christina Madrigal (who is married to Chris Madrigal of Madrigal Vineyards) and Elizabeth Naylor (who is married to winemaker Michael Trujillo of Karl Lawrence and Sequoia Grove wineries); they see the juggling career and family as the perfect metaphor for the art of making great wine, which is a constant balancing act of art, nature and technology. The grapes that make up the 2007 Two Wives Sauvignon Blanc are 100% organic. Christina and Elizabeth are also involved in the fight against breast cancer. Elizabeth lost her sister, Madelyn, to the disease in October 2004 and because of this they now donate a portion of proceeds from Two Wives Wines to the Breast Cancer Fund.
