"big wine, ready to drink! No breathing required and really mouth filling. Wow! Had conflicting advice about how long to age and whether 2008 was a bad year, but this wine is a winner and I think it has been aged enough! Don't expect it will improve more, but likely will drink well for many years." Best 2016-2019

92 points "Very deep in colour it offers up blackcurrant, blackberry, currants, mint and vanilla oak that is very slightly ‘gluey’ for want of a better word. Tight and condensed palate with plenty of fine grippy tannins. There are flavours of cassis/blackberry/dark cherry, mint, bitter dark chocolate and cedar oak. Plenty of fruit sweetness but at this stage very dry due to the tannic grip. Finishes with a wrench of tannic minty dark fruit and oak." Best 2008-2014
