"The east-southeast facing benchland property consists of gravelly loam with a 200 foot elevation difference from back to front. Rosella's Vineyard is planted to several clones. This 2004 'Rosella's Vineyard' Pinot Noir is produced from the 'Pisoni' clone, as well as clone 777. The wine offers aromas of ripe red fruits, particularly fresh ripe cherries and wild strawberries, accompanied by rich vanillin and a hint of earth. Possessing a plush and silky mouthfeel, the pure fruit flavors are framed to the finish by a dollop of French oak."
