"Strong red-purple; rich, chocolate, prune and blackberry fruit aromas give a hint of the concentrated palate, with sweet cherry and bitter chocolate its counterpoints. The unifying force is the excellent tannin which runs right through the palate, yet is in no sense hard. For the record a blend of 90 per cent Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon and 10 per cent Merlot from McLaren Vale.
