"The 2002 Shiraz C.W.’s Block is the finest effort in this quartet. Made from yields of 1.25 tons of fruit per acre, aged primarily in old American oak with a touch of new French wood, and bottled unfiltered, it is a full-bodied, concentrated, intense Shiraz. Although backward compared to its siblings, it is an impressively endowed wine revealing a classic Barossa aromatic and flavor profile of blackberries, cassis, licorice, white pepper, flowers, and toasty oak. Structured and dense, with loads of glycerin, it is an impressive red to drink between 2006-2015."
