Quite ripe, but very focused, with a graphite edge taking over quickly and harnessing the ample core of linzer torte, loganberry and blackberry fruit flavors. The long, lavender-tinged finish courses along nicely with ample drive. Drink now through 2013. 3,330 cases made. –JM
