"Strong red-purple; sweet and rich black cherry fruit has now come up to balance the vanilla and spice oak on both the bouquet and palate, the latter is rich, with sweet, ripe plum, dark cherry and prune fruit already showing the benefits of bottle age and with yet further improvement as it moves into full maturity. Already harmonious and elegant, finishing with soft tannins. Gold medal 2001 Great Australian Shiraz Challenge.
