"Color: evolved; Nose: closed; Acidity: crisp; Body: medium-bodied; Overall: well balanced; A lighter color and slightly evolved, however there should be no judging the "book by it's cover" with this one. Nice tight fruit of blackberry and plum with some cedar and vanilla. Excellent food wine with good acid. Well balanced, improving glass by glass. This is by no means a "California Heavy". It definitely expresses "place"."
