"The flavour is dark and dense, with a concentrated blackberry and raspberry fruit, a chocolatey richness, spicy oak, and long, fine tannins. It's a rich wine, that needs rich food to accompany it. A French beef casserole with plenty of garlic, tarragon and thyme would be marvellous."
