"Color: bright; Nose: discreet; Aromas: spicy; Acidity: lively; Sweetness: dry; Finish: medium; Overall: pleasant; This needed to be decanted overnight then it opened up nicely. Reminds me of some of the top notch sangiovese blends we had in Tuscany and Umbria. Very good for the money.
5/30/11 NOTES: This wine at Costco now is totally different than what I bought a year ago. The wine Guy at Costco says that this wine changed to Cabernet Franc from Sangiovese some time ago. Now it's much sweeter blend and lower quality wine. Glad I still have some from the earlier bottling. Spend a little more and try the menage a troi."
