95 points "Dried fruits with hints of coffee bean and cedar. Full body, with silky tannins and a tangy, savory finish. Almost salty character with ripe fruits. Complex and succulent on the finish. Drink or hold. by James Suckling, February 11, 2013" Best 2015-2020

92 points "Rich and dense, with cherry, black currant and cedar flavors covering the solid grip of tannins. Still closed down, yet there's freshness on the finish, with fruit and spice accents. Best from 2016 through 2032. by Bruce Sanderson, June 15, 2013" Best 2016-2032

92 points "Bright red with an amber edge. Vibrant, enticing aromas of red cherry, redcurrant, minerals, cinnamon and aromatic herbs. Fresh and clean, with ripe flavors of red cherry, aromatic herbs and sandalwood carrying through to a long, bright, flinty finish. Smooth tannins and zippy acidity extend the flavors on the back. Sneaky concentration here--and a good deal fresher than many other 2007 riserve. Anyone who loves minerally, graceful Brunellos has to try Fuligni's wines. 92(+?) points By Ian D'Agata Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar, Jul/Aug 13" Best 2015-2022

94 points "94 VM Fuligni 2007 Brunello Di Montalcino Riserva Fuligni's 2007 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva captures the richness of the vintage while maintaining plenty of classicism in its structure. Tar, smoke, tobacco, savory herbs and incense emerge from the exotic, highly expressive bouquet. Layers of red fruit build effortlessly through to a deeply resonant finish. The 2007 has wonderful richness, but at the same time, it is clearly holding back some of its significant potential. Overall, this is one of the best of the 2007 Riservas, even if it falls a bit short of being truly viscerally thrilling. Rated 94+ points. Drinking window: 2014 - 2027" Best 2015-2027
